About this Level 3 NVQ Diploma
- The Level 3 Diploma in Construction Contracting Operations provides a nationally recognised qualification for those working in the construction and the built environment sector
- Candidates will develop knowledge and skills in areas such as developing and maintaining working relationships; preparing and processing invitations to tender; preparing programmes and schedules of work; operating project information systems; and operating health, safety and welfare systems in construction
- This qualification is recognised by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS)
- Designed to confirm the learner’s occupational competence in a range of jobs in the construction sector
- Successful completion of this qualification permits the learner to apply for the relevant CSCS Site supervisor’s gold card*
- *Subject to additional fees and successful completion of the appropriate touch screen test held at an approved CITB test centre
- Candidates must complete the four Mandatory units, plus three of the optional Units from the General Pathway
- There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, but Positive Safety Solutions will carry out an initial assessment of candidate skills and knowledge to identify any gaps and help plan the assessment
- This qualification is competence-based, candidates must demonstrate the level of competence described in the units
- Each candidate is required to produce a portfolio of evidence which demonstrates their achievement of all of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit
