Successful completion of this qualification permits the learner to apply for the CSCS Black Construction Site Managers Card*
Learners who complete this qualification may be eligible to apply for Chartered membership of the Chartered Institute of Builders and use the letters MCIOB after their name**
*Subject to additional fees and successful completion of the appropriate touch screen test held at an approved CITB test centre
To achieve the qualification candidates must complete ALL of the Mandatory units, plus the Mandatory/Optional unit requirements in the general pathway
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, but Positive Safety Solutions will carry out an initial assessment of candidate skills and knowledge to identify any gaps and help plan the assessment
This qualification is competence-based, candidates must demonstrate the level of competence described in the units
Each candidate is required to produce a portfolio of evidence which demonstrates their achievement of all of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit
